For Pervin, yoga is first and foremost the discipline of conscious, compassionate living. It is a path towards healing and transformation. With a caring and intuitive touch, a sense of fun and a readiness to improvise she encourages people to take charge of their lives and tap into their inner potential for happiness. She honours everyone’s level of practice and steers people towards the next challenge.
This week will be a healing experience with dynamic flowing yoga in the mornings, followed by restorative yoga, energy practices, shiatsu and meditation in the late afternoons. As you quieten your mind you will start to hear the whisper of your inner self.
Pervin’s focus has always been on healthy food, especially on the rejuvenating and healing power of living foods and green and multicoloured juices. These will sometimes be available.
Before she discovered yoga, Pervin’s background was in Fine Art ceramics and language teaching in schools for 10 years. Her compassionate nature guided her to a remote corner of the Mediterranean where she has created a lovely garden with a fabulous yoga terrace. She shares this special place with yogis and yoginis, and her happy, divine rescued dogs. She divides her time between London and Turkey. With her partner, Michael, she has been organizing these yoga holidays and retreats in Turkey since the 90's.
Pervin has worked with great teachers such as Ana Forrest, David Swenson, David Roche, Doug Keller, Dharma Mittra and teachers of Jivamukti and Okido yoga and is very grateful to them. She has done teacher training with Ana Forrest and now her practice is inspired by Forrest yoga. She is a registered teacher with the Yoga Alliance UK.
Pervin is a registered RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance UK. This
accreditation demonstrates excellent standards as set
